Lemur Rescue Rush

Creation info:

Game Created during HackYeah 2024 within 24h in group of 3. I could only participate through half of the jam and managed to help with these things:

- Player movement and player controller adjustments (Jumping, moving etc.)

- Camera system

- Picking up small Lemurs and showing them on the back

Description:

We play as a mother lemur who is also the alpha of the group. Our task is to collect baby lemurs scattered around ( using natural environment to our advantage) and save them from a rapid flood by placing them on a nearby hill.

The flood, caused by weather anomalies linked to global warming, highlights how human concerns about climate change are accurate and shows that the impact is more vast than many peaople think and can cause disasters to our ecosystems.

This game serves as a 'Social Impact Game,' raising awareness about a real, unresolved issue and letting players respond to the dangers it creates. Climate change affects many lives, not just humans.
